# Live Platform Data

> Research profiles, content, and transcripts across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Research accounts, explore content, and retrieve transcripts with live platform endpoints. Start with a handle, video URL, or search query, then choose the resource you need below.

| Before you start | Details |
| - | - |
| Platforms | Instagram, TikTok, YouTube; resources differ by platform |
| Auth | API key or OAuth; supported endpoints also accept [x402](/guides/x402) or [MPP](/guides/mpp) |
| Cost | [Endpoint prices](/concepts/pricing); payment protocols quote requests separately |
| Limits | Set a page, video, or batch limit; inspect the chosen endpoint's reference |

## Choose a platform

| Platform | Starting input | Resources and guide |
| - | - | - |
| Instagram | Username or post shortcode | [Profiles, recent posts, video URLs, transcripts](/guides/download-instagram-videos) |
| TikTok | Username, video URL, query, hashtag, sound ID | [Profiles, videos, comments, captions, transcripts, discovery](/guides/tiktok-live-data) |
| YouTube | Channel handle, video ID, topic query | [Channels, videos, search, typeahead, transcripts](/guides/youtube-live-data) |

For campaign discovery, use [creator search](/concepts/semantic-search) to find Instagram creators who fit your brief. Follow up with live endpoints to research their profiles and content.

## Example: retrieve a TikTok profile

Set `INFLUSHIP_API_KEY` and a real `TIKTOK_USERNAME`, then run:

```bash theme={null}
curl --fail-with-body --silent --show-error \
  "https://api.influship.com/v1/raw/tiktok/profile/$TIKTOK_USERNAME" \
  -H "X-API-Key: $INFLUSHIP_API_KEY"
```

A successful fetch costs 0.2 credits (\$0.002) with API-key/OAuth billing. Inspect the returned `data` and `scraped_at`; the [TikTok guide](/guides/tiktok-live-data) includes response examples and endpoint links.

## Continue or stop

Continue pagination only when `has_more` is true and a cursor is present. Keep the same query and filters, and set a total page budget before starting.

* Empty successful source pages can be billed; inspect endpoint pricing.
* A `404` is a failed resource request, not proof that every page was retrieved.
* Retry temporary `503` responses with [bounded backoff](/guides/error-handling#bounded-retries).
* Preserve unknown fields as `null` instead of converting them to zero.
* Media URLs can expire. Read each platform's lifetime guidance before retaining them.

See [data freshness](/concepts/creators-vs-profiles) for timestamps and [Pricing](/concepts/pricing) for the full catalogue.
