# Cookbook

> Choose a runnable example or workflow for creator discovery, campaign comparison, and exports

Choose a recipe based on what you already have and what you want to build. Each recipe explains the API calls, the output, and the request costs.

## Start with a complete app

<Card title="Build a Creator Search App" icon="laptop-code" href="/cookbook/creator-search-nextjs">
  Enter a campaign brief, review up to five Instagram creators, and export a CSV. Includes a Next.js app, server-side TypeScript SDK integration, tests, and MIT-licensed source.
</Card>

You need Node.js 22+, pnpm 10.32.1, and an [API key](https://developers.influship.com). A five-result search costs 35 credits (\$0.35). Download and run the source from the [setup guide](/cookbook/creator-search-nextjs).

For search, supporting evidence, and saved API shortlists, run the [creator research app](/cookbook/creator-research-app). It uses Node.js without a dependency installation.

## Choose your workflow

| You have | You want | Recipe |
| - | - | - |
| A campaign brief | An interface for evidence review and saved API shortlists | [Creator research app](/cookbook/creator-research-app) |
| A campaign brief | A browser app with ranked results and CSV export | [Creator search app](/cookbook/creator-search-nextjs) |
| A campaign brief | Discovery followed by campaign scoring and profile expansion | [Build a Creator Shortlist](/cookbook/build-a-shortlist) |
| Known Instagram handles | A runnable script to compare campaign fit directly | [Compare Creators](/cookbook/compare-creators) |
| An existing roster | Similar creators, using weighted seeds | [Expand with Lookalikes](/concepts/lookalikes) |
| Handles requiring profile resolution | Profile lookup followed by campaign scoring | [Score Campaign Fit](/cookbook/score-campaign-fit) |
| A campaign brief | A runnable script that writes a CSV from one search | [Export a Shortlist to CSV](/cookbook/export-shortlist-csv) |

The comparison script accepts handles directly. Use the profile-resolution workflow when you also need creator IDs and profile data; the extra lookup is a separate API call.

## Before you run a recipe

* Follow the [quickstart](/quickstart) to create a key and make your first request.
* Use the [SDK guide](/sdks) for TypeScript installation or the [API reference](/api-reference) for raw HTTP.
* Review [pricing](/concepts/pricing) before increasing result counts or adding calls.
* Read [match reasons](/concepts/match-reasons) to interpret scores, explanations, and confidence markers.
* Follow [error handling](/guides/error-handling) for credentials, billing, rate limits, and temporary failures.

Example records are illustrative. Verify live access with your own key, review the returned creators, and measure whether a recipe meets your campaign requirements.
